MG 1/100 Geara Doga - Shin Matsunaga custom

I don't normally enjoy working on Zaku series,
purely due to those beads on the energy cables.
They are even very tricky to paint as well as connecting them.
When I saw this Geara Doga online, i thought it was agood  chance to invest some time on it,
because it just looked so much better than normal zakus.
I decided to apply an original color theme, and instantly it was Shin Matsunaga.
Not only he was my favorite Zeon pilot, his custom colors are way nicer than the greens.
I wanted a zaku that does not look too zakuish..
Anyhow, here it is.
Shin Matsunaga custom.

Elyn Hobby 1/100 Kshatriya

Finally, the project has finished.
1,200 pieces.
First of all, let me start with cons.
There are too many pieces missing in the kit,
and many of the pieces that were present, overlapped with each other.
For example, my own kit came with two left side shoulder joint armors instead of left and right.
Other pieces were okay in terms of being duplicate unless they were like head units.
Also, 90% of the pieces never snap fitted..
I had to use 3 tubes of crazy glues to complete this build..
Some pieces even had male parts when there was no female part, etc.

GBWC 2013 @ Anime Expo 2013 Convention center

Won 1/100 category at GBWC 2013!

was introduced on Flipboard.

I met many talented modelers who actively are running their own Gunpla community in Southern

Cali. Great people.

It was such a great experience for me as a modeler, and an opportunity to learn.

MG 1/100 Duel Gundam Assault Shroud - Custom Armor

Hate the pilot, not the mobile suits.
That is like the best decription applying to this particular kit.
As much as i hate Yzak, i love Duel gundam.
A beefy external armor with sleek main body armor underneath is very well designed in my opinion.
By the way, Duel was the only one of the GAT-X series,
which ended up not being destroyed, and yet it was wearing a shroud (according to its very own name). Irony it is.
